On May 21th, 2019, International Support for Uyghurs with Carleton University political science faculty organized a seminar at the Carleton university in Ottawa. For this event, Uyghur activist, Memet Tohti, was invited from Toronto to give the presentation on Uyghur’s current dire situation. Mr. Tohti also answered many questions from the audience at the end of the seminar.
