Sunday, November 6, 2022, ISU joined a meeting discussing Bill C-281 (The International Human Rights Act) hosted by Members of Parliament Philip Lawrence and Garnett Genuis. Questions were asked about the Canadian government’s commitment to extracting political prisoners from East Turkistan and the role of Canadian finance in Magnitsky Act sanctions against Chinese officials.
