ISU will host a virtual fundraising gala on May 8th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, for the benefit of Uyghur asylum seekers in Thailand. The event will feature two guest speakers: Zumret Dawut, a concentration camp survivor, and Hena Zuberi, an editor at MuslimMaters.org.

You can purchase your tickets in advance via the Eventbrite link below. Ticket prices vary from $10 to $50, and all proceeds will go to Uyghurs in need in Thailand.
