International Support for Uyghurs (ISU) is organizing a peaceful protest on November 15 at 1PM at Dorchester Square in Montreal to denounce the genocidal methods of the Chinese government used against Uyghurs.

Jusqu’à trois millions de Ouïghours sont détenus dans des camps de concentration mené par le Parti communiste chinois au Turkistan oriental. Des enfants sont séparés de leurs parents et des femmes sont stérilisées de force  ainsi que forcé d'avorter . Les sites religieux et les cimetières ouïghours sont systématiquement détruits.

Up to three million Uyghurs are held in concentration camps run by the Chinese authority in East Turkistan. Children are separated from their parents and women are forcibly sterilized. Cultural and religious sites and cemeteries are systematically destroyed.

Despite the gloomy weather, more than 400 protestors came equipped with masks mindful of COVID, from communities across Canada come together in Montreal to show they will not stay silent on the Uyghur genocide being perpetrated by the Chinese government.

For two hours, International Support for Uyghurs occupied the Phillips Square in downtown Montreal with signs, flags, and posters to raise awareness of the human rights atrocities being committed by China. The ability to protest tyranny is a freedom Uyghurs in East Turkistan have been deprived of.

On March2, 2020, Montreal Institute for Genocide hosted a conference in Montreal, Canada. World Uyghur Congress leader, Mr. Dolkun Isa, was invited to discuss about oppression of Uyghurs and the "re-education camps" holding more than three million Uyghurs

Ottawa - On Wednesday Feb 19, International Support for Uyghurs visited Parliament hill to advocate for the release of the up to 3 million Uyghurs being detained in concentration camps in East Turkestan by the Chinese Communist Party.

A press conference was organized to release a written statement regarding the urgent need for the Canadian government to intervene in the safety and wellbeing of Uyghurs due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus.

On Friday, February14, 2020, International Support for Uyghurs (ISU) and the Canadian Institute of Islamic civilization (CIIC) organized a successfully seminar.
