By 2021, an independent Uyghur tribunal will be held in London, United Kingdom. The highly acclaimed British lawyer and prosecutor, Barrister Geoffrey Nice, has been asked by the World Uyghur Congress to investigate whether the Chinese government’s human rights abuses against Uyghurs in East Turkistan constitutes genocide.

The World Uyghur Congress demands that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) reconsider holding the upcoming Winter Games in Beijing, China. The growing body of evidence shows that the Chinese government is violating human rights, and committing genocide against Uyghurs and other Turkic people of East Turkistan.

German Anthropologist Adrian Zenz observes that as China loosens reproduction restrictions on the Han Chinese population, the opposite occurs for the Uyghurs and Muslim ethnic minorities in East Turkistan.

On the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, The US State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said, “In the People’s Republic of China, more than a million Uyghurs, ethnic Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and members of other predominantly Muslim minority groups in Xinjiang have been arbitrarily detained in internment camps, where many report torture.”

International Students Afraid to Return Home Aezimet Enver, an ethnic Uzbek, was detained by the Chinese authorities in East Turkistan (aka Xinjiang) in 2018. His case was a subject of inquiry in the United Nations. However, Aezimet was sentenced to 15 years in prison last month.

The Belgian Senate filed a motion for resolution to condemn forced organ harvesting from Uyghurs, Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners in China. It requests the European Union to undertake an independent investigation on organ trafficking in China, and to prosecute the individuals involved in these cruel practices.
